l absolutely love everything about this place. From the quaint ambiance with friendly service, I felt like I was home at Tulua Bistro. Not to mention the food, it was absolutely incredible. Yay for the gay! I really needed y’all that day. Thanks for being there.
I was there after an evening with a friend, a “special friend”, if you would like to label it. This was the celebratory morning after meal suggested as a place I had to try as it served brunch to the rainbow affair I had the Tulua Bowl featuring two over easy eggs, two sausage patties, grilled peppers and onions, cafe potatoes and shredded cheddar cheese on our house made grits. It was a bowl served best by Tulua, made delicious by me.
The establishment is opening itself up to the Springfield area of Jacksonville soon which should be a delicious treat for the downtown community. Serving a variety of dishes that compliment the vegan, vegetarian, or meat eater in all of us, this LGBT+ friendly restaurant is a bold new statement in the City of Jacksonville.
